Citroën C4 Picasso Owners Happiest People Mover Owners

JD Power and Associates, the world renowned quality and customer satisfaction evaluation company, has named the Citroën C4 Picasso as the people mover with the most satisfied owners and, demonstrating Citroën prowess at keeping families happy, Citroën has also taken the second place with the Citroën Xsara Picasso.

The J.D. Power and Associates/What Car? 2009 UK Vehicle Ownership Satisfaction Study interviewed more than 15,700 owners after an average of two years of ownership, covering 29 brands and more than 100 models. Owners provided feedback on both their vehicles and their dealers, covering 67 attributes grouped in four measurements of satisfaction.

In order of importance, they are:

• Vehicle appeal (37%), which includes performance, design, comfort and features;
• Vehicle quality and reliability (24%);
• Ownership costs (22%), which includes fuel consumption, insurance and costs of service/repair; 
• Dealer service satisfaction (17%).

The Citroën C4 Picasso’s score of 802 out of a maximum of 1000 points placed the Citroën people mover on a par with brands such as BMW and models such as the Audi TT for delivering satisfied, happy owners. Indeed, the Citroën C4 Picasso is just one point behind Porsche in the survey.

"The JD Power survey is comprehensive study of every aspect of ownership and it is done well after the glow of initial ownership has faded," says Lawrie Malatios, General Manager for Citroën in New Zealand.

"This means it really does establish just how well Citroën C4 Picasso does its job of reliably, safely and efficiently transporting families. The fact that its score places it on par with brands such as Audi, BMW and Porsche for customer satisfaction is a testament to the Citroën C4 Picasso’s intelligent design and its ability to meet the real needs of families over a long period of ownership."
