An easy load to bear
The Berlingo is powered by a 1.4 litre engine that has been tailored to commercial vehicle needs, with plenty of torque for pulling loads. The Citroën Berlingo has a huge payload of 800kg (that's the equivalent of 40 bags of cement) and a cavernous 3 cubic metres of useable space. The low floor height makes light work of loading and the two rear doors can open to either 90° for narrow streets or 180º for greater cargo access and allows a full Australian size pallet to fit between the wheel hubs.
The addition of the option of a sliding side door with a hold-open lock system makes kerb-side loading easier.
