Smart Sensors
Tyre pressure is an important element of driving safety. Tyre pressure sensors constantly monitor the pressure of all tyres and alerts the driver via audible and visible warnings should any change in tyre pressure be detected. This feature is standard on 'exclusive' models.
From 80km/h, the Lane Departure Warning System* (LDWS) uses a series of sensors to monitor the road ahead. If a driver changes lanes without signalling (a good indicator of fatigue), infrared sensors mounted beneath the front bumper bar can detect this and warn the driver with a gentle seat vibration.
