Suspension

The running gear of the new DS3 range offers precise handling for a truly sporty driving experience. The suspension system features a MacPherson type strut with a flexible beam rear and sports suspension.

High Performance Brakes

The DS3 range features a braking system with ventilated front discs and rear discs, combined with ABS and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD).
To further improve braking safety, the DS3 is fitted as standard with emergency braking assistance (EBA) and automatic hazard warning lights. ESP (electronic stability programme) is also standard across the DS3 range. ESP monitors the car's progress through a bend. If oversteer or understeer is detected, ESP automatically modifies the engine's torque and applies the brakes to maintain stability and control.
