Hydractive III+ Suspension

Hydractive III+ suspension is a major feature of the New Citroën C5. Citroën's most advanced suspension system to date, with its evolutionary technology, offers a whole new standard in luxurious, comfortable driving. Based on the world famous Citroën invention of hydropneumatic suspension, Hydractive III+ also features Citroën's trademark self-levelling feature that guarantees a constant ride height regardless of the load or number of passengers, overcoming the usual compromise between ride-comfort and handling.

The suspension constantly monitors speed and road conditions, lowering the car at speeds above 110kmh to optimise stability and fuel economy. On rough roads, it automatically raises for increased clearance and comfort.

At the touch of a button you can also spice things up with the 'sport mode'. The system ensures optimised driving pleasure and truly exceptional comfort.
